12th Night Coronation 2013

4-6 January 2013

Come one, come all and pray attend. On the 5th day of January, Anno Societatis 46, being 2013 in the common reckoning, the reign of Paul and Aryanhwy must come to an end as they cede the Black Dragon Throne to Their heirs. Their Majesties invite all who wish to do so to come witness the succession in the beautiful surroundings of the ancient royal hunting ground known as the New Forest.

The event is being hosted by  West Dragonshire at the Foxlease Guide Centre, Lyndhurst in Hampshire.

The weekend will be filled with pageantry, fighting, feasting and all manner of arts and sciences. Please keep checking back to this page for further updates.

To see who is coming already, please check our reservations list here.

Feast details will be provided at a later date.

The event will be held at Foxlease Guide Centre in Lyndhurst, Hampshire.

This is a site that has been used for a number of events in recent years. Accommodation is split between three buildings, all of which have bunks in varying sizes of bedroom and dormitory, toilets and showers.  Each building also has catering facilities.

  • Princess Margaret Lodge - This is the most modern building and has 30 bunks. Note for those with limited mobility that this is the furthest building from the centre of activities in the Barn.
  • The Coach House - this is an 18th century building with 22 bunks.
  • The Barn - this is the main building, where court and feast will be held and has 28 bunks.

No bedding is provided, so you will have to bring your own. A limited amount of loaner bedding (pillows, sleeping bags) will be available - please contact the reservations steward.

The site is just outside the New Forest town of Lyndhurst in Hampshire.  It is easily accessible from the M27 motorway and is served well by trains (Brockenhurst & Ashurst (New Forest)), National Express Coaches (Lyndhurst) and airports (Southampton and Bournemouth).
